The Merit Sims uterine sound is a malleable, silver plated OB/GYN instrument used for probing and dilating the uterus as well as measuring the length of the cervical canal. It is very similar to the Simpson uterine sound. The handle is a short, smooth thumb grip that features 3 vertical grooves for improved grip. The Sims does not have any measurement markings.
