Sklar Ointment Jars were historically used to hold various ointments and keep it isolated from potential contaminants. Today, many ointment preparations are packaged individually for preservation and sterility, and ointment jars may be used for storage of other items such as cotton balls or otoscope tips. The dimensions of this jar are 3-1/8" x 2-3/4".
