Sklar's Jackson Vaginal retractor is a single-end, handheld OB/GYN instrument used to retract the vaginal walls for examination of the cervix. The Jackson is available in three different sizes. Sklar Blue electrosurgical instruments have an insulated coating to prevent radio frequency currents from being transmitted through the instrument - thereby reducing burning of non-targeted tissues. Sklar Blue instruments are fully autoclavable and may also be cleaned ultrasonically.
