Sklar's cervical mallet has more of a ball peen hammer head profile. It is an orthopedic and neurological instrument used for cutting and shaping bone - particularly in procedures of the cervical vertebrae. It is available in two different lengths and weights. The head profile and grooved handle are similar to the Cloward in this product class.
