Sklar's Dahlgren rongeur is a neurosurgical instrument used to to ease access to brain tissue and create a window in the skull. These are spring handle, single action forceps with a thum rest for surgeon comfort. Both the Dahlgren and DeVilbiss have similar jaws and blades, with an adjustment pin near the box lock.
