Sklar's Epstein curette is designed for scraping tissue or debris for a biopsy, excision, or cleaning procedure. An area of common usage is TMJ procedures. The curette has a 2.8mm oval cup, reverse angled. Like the similar Bruns, the Epstein features a large, lightweight hollow handle with longitudinal grooves and a thumbrest for increased control. The product is available straight or curved, in a variety of sizes.
