Sklar's Farrior black ear speculum is a cone shaped funnel attachment for an otoscope that allows examination of the ear canal and eardrum. The speculum is inserted into the ear canal and the otoscope handle provides a light source and low-power magnification so the practitioner can view the eardrum. Disease and infections of the middle or inner ear can largely be detected by this examination. The reduced reflectivity polymer coated stainless steel speculum is available has a round tip, available in several diameter sizes.
