Sklar's Fox/Williams double end probe is a dental instrument used to assess periodontal pocket depths, gingival bleeding, and anatomy configurations. The serrated knurled handle maximizes control and reduces muscle fatigue to the operator. The probe diameter is 1.0mm --a benefit over very thin ones which may produce a false reading by penetrating the juntional epithelium.
