Sklar's Goldman-Fox probe is a dental instrument used to assess periodontal pocket depths, gingival bleeding, and anatomy configurations.This single-end, round handle version is also available as part of Sklar's periodontal instrument set #98-1486. When compared to other first generation periodontal probes, the Goldman-Fox has fewer markings which minimize confusion during reading, but the flat shank doesn't allow easy access to tight fibrotic pockets.
