Sklar's Jarcho Tenaculum Forceps are ratcheted, finger ring forceps with inward facing single hooks used for grasping and moving tissue. These forceps are most commonly used in OB/GYN procedures to grasp and move the cervix. The single hooks provide a deep bite on the cervical tissue that greatly eliminates the possibility of shifting. Both the shaft and the shanks of this instrument are narrow and slightly curved. The overall length is 7-1/2 inches.
