Sklar's Levasseur-Merril retractor is used in reconstructive surgery of the jaw - to correct mandibular prognathism. The retractor is available with an over hook type of notch tip, slightly curved blade with a hollow grip hooked handle in two different sizes. Unlike the similar Bauer in this product class, the Levasseur-Merril has a finger rest on the handle.
