Sklar's Papavero-Caspar speculum is a hand held, duck billed neurological instrument used to remove tumors of the pituitary region - adenomas, craniopharyngiomas, biopsies and debulking of large tumors. The Papavero-Caspar is for transphenoidal entry, rather then an open craniotomy. This product is available in three different blade sizes. Like the Hardy, the Papavero-Caspar's blades are not as curved as the Cushing-Landolt in this product class.
