Sklar's Pean-Nippon Forceps feature long serrated jaws used to control bleeding, by clamping larger blood vessels. They are a hemostatic variety, commonly used in the initial phase of surgery. The ratcheted finger ring reduces slippage of the vessels or tissue during the procedure. The Pean-Nippon is availble curved or straight, and a variety of lengths.
