Sklar's Surgi-OR Schroeder tenaculum forceps are a ratcheted, finger ring instrument commonly used in OB/GYN procedures involving manipulation of the cervix or uterus, most commonly D&C, and vaginal or abdominal hysterectomy. They are also used to grasp, hold, and move vessels and arteries during surgical procedures. The tips have flattened prong tips that overlap, providing a strong hold on the tissue.
